Graduate scheme

Over the years, UPS's development and advancement of a diverse talent pool has contributed to the growth and success of our business. Our leadership development programmes aim to accentuate personal growth and at the same time help further, UPS’s leadership position. All of our development programmes take a grass route approach to progression and we classify ability & flexibility as two of the most important key attributes in potential applicants. The world of logistics is competitive, not a nine to five and most certainly, only suitable to those who have a passion & drive for success.

Individuals embark on multiple six month assignments across functional and operational areas of the organisation (on a national scale). These roles will challenge the best of individuals and stretched goals aligned to organisational objectives are assigned with each fresh rotation. What can be correctly assumed is that, once you have achieved success in one task, you will quickly move onto the next. Rotations require individuals to focus on the role at hand, learn quickly and then make tangible accomplishments during their placement.

In return for your commitment to challenge; our placements present an opportunity to work in varying vicinities of a successful global organisation whilst gaining the essential business & leadership knowledge crucial for roles of greater responsibility.

The three year programme headed by Learning & Development will monitor performance through quarterly reviews and to support your development plan, you will participate in knowledge improvement workshops and take responsibility for improvement projects related to your job role.
